Brooke Banville

Brooke films and writes most of BanVoyage. Every review and room tour on the site starts with her notes from the trip.

Brooke has deep roots in Delaware County, Pennsylvania. She met Laurence while visiting friends in Dublin, and today they live in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, with their daughter and son, traveling frequently: cruises, Disney parks, all-inclusive resorts, winter trips and weekends close to home.

Before BanVoyage, Brooke spent 17 years in finance. She is a Certified Public Accountant with a BBA in accounting from Temple University’s Fox School of Business, where she belonged to the Beta Alpha Psi and Beta Gamma Sigma honor societies. She started as an auditor at Ernst & Young in Philadelphia, moved to Qlik as a senior internal auditor, and then spent more than ten years at SAP in field finance, North America revenue recognition, finance and procurement program management, and SAP’s global executive programs.

In 2026 she took a planned career break to focus on the family. She brings an auditor’s eye to our trips: what things really cost, what the fine print says and whether the room matches the listing.

She was filming and writing about our trips before BanVoyage had a name. On the road she shoots the room tours that show where everyone actually sleeps, keeps notes on what worked and what didn’t, and turns them into the reviews you read here.
